Human trafficking is a form of modern-day slavery in which traffickers use force, fraud, or coercion to control victims for the purpose of engaging in commercial sex acts or labor services against a person’s will. Human trafficking is often hidden in plain sight. We will discuss types of human trafficking, how to identify individuals who may be victims of human trafficking, what to do if there is suspicion of trafficking and resources available to victims.
