It is not enough to be able to “do” a visual field – you must be able to do thorough, consistent and reliable visual fields. We will discuss: parameters of a visual field, blind spot monitor settings , spot size, appropriate correction as well as False Positives/ False Negatives, and the Grey Scale. We also will discuss the Pre Chiasm, Chiasm and Post Chiasm and the visual field defects we may see with those areas.
